Privacy policy

This policy explains what Simsar Labs (“we”, “us”) collects through simsarlabs.com, why, who processes it for us, and how to have it changed or deleted. It covers this website only. When a brokerage uses the Simsar product, its client documents are covered by a separate agreement.
What we collect
- When you fill in the form: your email address or WhatsApp number and, if you continue, your name, your brokerage, its size, the problems you pick, the channels and tools you use, and anything you type in the free-text boxes.
- Which section of the page you came from and which language you used.
- When you browse: pages viewed, clicks, how far you scroll, your browser and device, your approximate location (worked out from your IP address), and recordings of how the page was used. Recordings hide anything typed into form fields.
- When you book a call, message us on WhatsApp or email us: whatever you send us there. Calendly, WhatsApp and your email provider handle that under their own privacy policies.
Why we use it
- To contact you about the call you asked for, and to prepare for it.
- To understand which parts of the site are useful, and improve them.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We do not sell your details, use them for advertising, or share them with anyone except the providers listed below.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- Neon: stores form submissions, in Frankfurt, Germany.
- PostHog: website analytics and session recordings, on EU servers.
- Resend: sends us an email when a new form comes in.
- Calendly: if you book a call through the calendar on our site.
Some of these providers store or process data outside the UAE, including in the EU and the United States. We use providers that commit to protecting personal data and only use it to provide their service to us.
Cookies and similar technology
PostHog sets a cookie and uses your browser’s storage to recognise repeat visits and keep a visit together. We use no advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer. Then we keep them for as long as our agreement with you requires.
- Analytics: events for up to 12 months, session recordings for up to 30 days.
You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under the UAE’s data protection law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- stop using it for a purpose, or withdraw consent you gave.

Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with providers that encrypt it at rest. Only the people who need it can see it.
Children
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. We will point out significant changes on the site.
